About
The Titus County Hospital District was created in 1963 to govern the affairs of Titus Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, TX. The mission of the District is to lead the transformation for healthier tomorrows in its communities.
Today, Titus County Hospital District has seven Board Members, one from each precinct and three at-large, who generously devote their time and energies to facilitate the hospital district's advances in care, facilities and services for the communities it serves.
Effective May 1, 2026, Titus Regional Medical Center joined CHRISTUS Health. To learn more about CHRISTUS Health Mount Pleasant, please visit www.CHRISTUSHealth.org.
While CHRISTUS now operates the hospital and clinics, the Titus County Hospital District continues to exist as a governmental entity dedicated to supporting the healthcare needs of Titus County. The District oversees certain obligations related to the hospital transition, monitors long-term community benefit commitments, and continues to support healthcare services within the community, including its involvement with local nursing home services. Through these efforts, the District helps preserve local accountability and ensures healthcare resources remain focused on the needs of area residents.
